At Bright Start Kidz we believe that the first five years of life are a time for laying down the foundations for later learning. We endeavour to achieve this by empowering the children to trust their own momentum and priorities whilst offering them new opportunities to engage the world.

Learning and developing influences each other, we believe that when children are motivated then that increases their curiosity and eagerness to learn. We acknowledge and support children’s interests and strengths to enhance and facilitate their learning process. As Early Childhood Educator’s we draw on our skills and knowledge of child development and the ‘Being, Belonging and Becoming’ Early Years Learning Framework to deliver high quality education and care. Parents and families are encouraged to participate with Bright Start Kidz in a two-way partnership. Sharing power and empowering parents and other family members in the service means encouraging shared decision making about their child’s experience. The input of families is essential to our achieving and maintaining excellence.

We invite input into the development and review of our philosophy, goals, programs and policies. We value the cultural diversity families contribute to our centre.
